A simple poem about the sweetness in life.

Listen to it chime in the distance,

an earthquake of caramel,

it's about time, there's no resistance,

a toothache on a carousel.

Hazel scents fill my ears,

I can smell it in your eyes,

a drizzling dazzle sent from your love kill my fears,

I ran a million for this amber day to arrive.

Tuck in blue memories for a deep sleep,

kiss goodnight your time capsule one last time,

make sure that eternal life doesn't make a peep,

make sure your lullabies actually rhyme.

Before you go, before dreams will float away,

follow the frozen yellow roses to the North Pole,

until I find your gleam in a thousand years plus a day,

stay hollow with chocolate, or else you can have a lump of coal.
