Feedback would be great

‘I cannot be late’- a recurring thought that has become a staple in my daily life. This and much more race through my mind as I scuffle along the pavement to my next appointment. To earn keep, I pick up various odd jobs from fellow neighbors or people I chance upon. I've lived in the same ten block radius my entire life. I am well aware of the many possible routes through town, however, I find myself choosing the same one more often than not. What has led me to become so mundane?

You are probably thinking I chose this street because I enjoy the scenic atmosphere, or the smell of fresh bread as I pass the bakery. The real reason I am here.. sheer convenience. I am a man of punctuality. It is as mindful as it is efficient. The amount of errands and chores I complete in one day would astound most! It can be surprising what one can accomplish when applying timeliness with a constant drive to achieve more. Life should not be spent on needless efforts. So many people I see lollygagging around, taking time to stop and smell the flowers. Wherein lies the point of that? Everything I put forth has purpose, meaning, or is beneficial in someway. In my life, there is no room for nonsense. Anything one can do to attain is the most practical use of one's time. I do not mean attainment simply for one's own gain. The benefits of others can be included as well. Maintenance of any kind can also be construed as a form of attaining, it establishes order. A vital role for any and all acquisitions.
