Jays Have Brave's Number

A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Atlanta Game Three.

It seems obvious that the Toronto Blue Jays have the Atlanta Braves number this season.

Again, Toronto came from behind yesterday to defeat Atlanta 8-4.

It was the sixth straight win against the Braves.

It was also the second time this season Toronto has swept the Braves.

At the postgame press conference, Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo said the starting pitching was a huge reason why his team won the series.

The Braves quickly went ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning.

First, Ronald Acuna hit a solo home run.

Then, Ehire Adrianza drove in Freddie Freeman with a single.

At the top of the second inning, Jonathan Davis drove in Cavan Biggio with a single.

At the top of the fifth inning, Toronto went ahead 3-2.

First, Bo Bichette tied the game, driving in Reese McGuire with a single.

Then, Teoscar Hernandez drove in Bichette with a single.

In the bottom of the fifth, Dansby Swanson put the Braves ahead 4-3 with a two run homer.

The Jays tied the game at the top of the eighth inning when Biggio drove in Hernandez with a double.

The Jays scored four more runs at the top of the ninth inning.

Bichette hit a two run double.

Biggio, then, drove in Bichette with another double.

Finally, Hernandez scored on a sacrifice fly by Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

Bo Bichette had three RBIs.

Bichette went two for five at the plate and had three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Ross Stripling had a really good outing on tthe mound yesterday.

Stripling went five innings, allowing just four hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out nine batters.

Ross Stripling has strong outing.

Swanson had two RBIs yeserday.

Brave's starting pitcher, Charlie Morton went 4.2 innings, allowing seven hits, three earned runs, two walks, and struck out four batters.

Toronto kicks off a three game home series against the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.
