It's a hollow night written all over the skies The moon is silver and the stars are cold Play the piano and sing lullabies Cos' somewhere in the dark There's a sad girl that is too sad to cry

What do you know of paradise And how is it different from hell? You've learnt to expect silence - Yet searching for answers Close your eyes, sad girl And hope - this night too shall pass

You're a passing 'gone' You're a waiting 'empty' At end of each road is a broken piece of you What looks like strength doesn't hold you up so well, You're fragile Please don't let the audience know that

Sad girl, Your mouth is where lonely boys come to seek company, Your heart is where empty promises of love stay broken

Nights when your mother thinks you're sleeping But you're wide-awake, Burying the whole world in your bedroom Forgetting past lovers Forgetting past memories Forgetting pain And everything there's that leaves you broken.

Sad girl, Perhaps the world needs saving from you????

It's really amusing how I just hum these words while writing. It's like I do music these days and not poetry????
