It was around 10 at night I had fallen asleep just barely when I heard police sirens from outside.
I thought nothing really of it at the time just someone doing something illegal. But the next night around the same time I heard more sirens and this time they were closer. Again I fell asleep.
The following day again for a third straight day another siren at 10 this time I could see the red and blue flashing lights from outside flashing inside my bedroom I looked out the window and saw police with flashlights. They came to everyone’s door I saw my mom and dad speak with the police.
I looked to my left and saw what looked like a man outside my neighbors fence. He was watching the police. I wanted to tell my parents about it but I was tired and decided it’s better to just go to bed.
The next morning I asked my mom and dad what the police had asked them? They told me that the police were looking for a suspicious man outside.
I froze as I remembered I had seen a man last night. I asked my parents what the man was in trouble for? My dad said “He murdered somebody.” I had seen the killer and I could have gotten him arrested but instead I decided to ignore it and go back to bed.
