Shuddersome

The gloom descends;

the trees quake,

the ground shakes.

And me?

I can barely hang on.

Cloying and choking,

this fog cloaks my world

in a shuddersome veil

that shivers and shimmers,

distorting the ‘real’

from the madness.

An outpouring of raw emotion. Heartfelt, sad, but given Celestial voice by your genius pen.

Thanks, C-S, but such high praise is not deserved.
