As the world is gripped around with the fear of an invisible enemy, the only thing that is keeping the human race’s spirits alive is our very own hope.

Someday

And someday the winds will blow in our way,

But this time with a new hope of life,

As the invisible brush paints across our face,

With a colour of new beginnings,

Only then will we relish this colour again,

For us, and for the people we have lost in pain.

And someday the sea waves will have conversations with us,

Of longings, and lost love,

As the words from the wordless dialogue feels heard,

Only then will we relish this conversation again,

For us, and for the people we have lost in pain.

And someday the sun would shine bright again,

But this time with an aura of normalcy that has been long forgotten.

As the rays leave an imprint of a warm kiss on people,

Only then will we relish this normalcy again,

For us, and for the people we have lost in pain.
