A recap of last night's Boston/Toronto Game Two.

The Red Sox were really swinging their bats last night as Boston hammered the Toronto Blue Jays 7-3.

The Sox scored five runs at top of the first inning.

Alex Verdugo hit a two run homer.

J.D. Martinez hit a solo home run.

Xander Bogaerts scored on a routine ground out.

Then, Bobby Dakbec drove in Rafael Devers to put the Sox ahead 5-0.

In the bottom of the first, Vladmir Guerrero Jr. drove in Bo Bichette with a double.

At the top of the second inning, Enrique Hernandez hit a solo home run.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Marcus Semien made it a 6-3 game with a two run homer.

At the top of the eighth inning, Christian Vazquez hit a solo home run.

Verdugo went two for five at the plate and had two RBIs.

Boston's starting pitcher, Garrett Richards went 6.2 innings, allowing seven hits, two earned runs, four walks, and struck out five batters.

Semien went two for three at the plate and had two RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Ross Stripling went 3.2 innings, allowing eight hits, six earned runs, no walks, and struck out three batters.

Game Three is tonight.
