Only The Quilt

I could see her
putting in the fur
with her trembling hand(s)
having wrinkles like sand
dunes, smoothly and slowly.
Oh my granny!
so pious and holy
are you my diety.
How dearly you built
my soft and lovely quilt.
Now, with a sigh
I say, in the corner of my eye
shines a sad pearl,
as those moments are ephemeral.
My heart do moan,
as you and days are gone,
fills me with guilt
as I'm only
left with thy quilt.
