Yes, there was a growth in it's singularity...
Left ripe for picking, an apple on a low branch...
What has turned green to glowing red in the dead of night...
The crickets singing their tune, scattering at the sound of a thud...
And when the apple fell, the crickets grew silent...
In some time the swinging of the trees stopped...
And with it, hope of defying gravity...
