For how many days must a man endure the indignities and humiliation of being called less then a creature of God, and not equal among men?

ENDURE

By Al Garcia

For how many days must a man endure the indignities and humiliation of being called less then a creature of God, and not equal among men?

For how many days must a man suffer the cruelties of hate and the brutalities of aversion and revulsion that kills the spirit and enslaves the human soul, simply because of the color of his skin?

The answer is simple, my friend.  The answer is written in the wind.  For every day of their life, those born to be hurt must endure the pallid stigma that afflicts the imprudent and faith-impoverished minds that strut and swagger across the lines of decency and dignity, defaming and offending the very conception of their creation.

And as the days accumulate, and the animosity continues to escalate, it becomes more evident to those of us covered in hues, and tones and shades that offend and insult the self-anointed chosen who exhibit no guilt, no shame, no dishonor, that we must endure until the end of time.

The inability to feel or sense the humanity that was borne on a hill at Calvary explains the callousness and numbness of hearts that do not feel, spirits that cannot soar, and souls that never grow.
