Status: Finished  |  Genre: Horror  |  House: Booksie Classic

Once-were people used to be human, but no longer are. Not quite zombies, ghouls, or vampires, they hope to steal people's lives to rejoin the living.

Once-were children seek
Barren women who need them,
Hoping soon to kill.

Carnival from Hell
Unspeakable acts performed,
By once-were people.

Carnival of fear
Demons and slinking things,
Audience terrified.

Carnival in town
Entertains an audience,
Of once-were people.

Having once been live
Once-were people yearn,
To rejoin humanity.

Once-were people hope
To take over human lives,
To become alive.

Once-were people slink
Following living beings,
Hope to steal their lives.

A once-were woman
Lunges through burial grounds,
Hunting men to kill.
