Noel Harley has a penchant for talking his way out of anything. His advice column on relationships is the "must-read" section of Indulge Magazine. Being anonymous was the best part of writing an advice column. He could write as many fiction stories as he wanted, and the entirety of Manhattan went to sleep believing love was something anyone can have. A rookie writer fresh out of NYU wants to expose the real Noel, now he can't have that, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of her, without breaking her heart in the process.

Freshman writer and aspiring novelist Kate Paulson has a few things to say about the honesty of a certain columnist known as "Prince Charming" whom she'd heard in college. When she finally meets the real him, he's nowhere near the man he presents himself to be, nor are the fantasies he's conjured up, and now, her expectations of romantic love is as it always has been, a complete lie. Ever determined to prove herself a real writer to her colleagues, she won't stop until she got her story, the real one the Irish charmer tends to hide behind.

Hi Audrey!

I really liked the beginning of this. Left a few iComments. Overall really great start. Excited to see where you go with this!

The only thing I’m confused on - and I think I left a little note at the beginning - was his ex-girlfriend… her being “the longest relationship” he’d ever been in… is this is only ex? Or are you comparing that relationship to platonic relationships like friends/family? Just something I’m wondering about.

Anyway, great beginning!! :D

Hi! I finally figured out how to reply back! Thank you so much for the iComments! That's certainly something I'm not used to receiving at all. Much appreciated!

Noel's ex-girlfriend is from back home in Ireland, and yes, that has been the only real relationship he's had. First love, so to speak. I'll try to make it more clear as the story progresses, so that's why he holds onto it as he does.

I think relationships where sex, close friendship, and possibly marriage are involved, aren't the same as friends and family, the bond might be there, but romantic relationships, at least in my eyes, aren't exactly the same, that would be a little weird. Hope that's clear enough!

Thanks for the feedback! I hope you'll come back as the story goes on. x)
