We the People have always been the conscience of America. But now, more than ever, we must listen and share the reflection of our collective conscience.

By Al Garcia

We the People have always been the conscience of America.  But now, more than ever, we must listen and share the reflection of our collective conscience.

America at its worst is divided, disillusioned, fractured and disheartened.  American at its best is united, strong, determined and exceptional in every way, both at home and abroad.  It has been the collective American conscience that has guided and steered our nation to greatness, and it will be our collective American conscience that will lift us up once again -- a conscience without color and without bounds.  A conscience with a vision and no division.

Almost 73.5 million Americans must stop excusing and tolerating the de-democratization of our form of governance, and the disenfranchisement of those deemed a threat to their lust for absolute power, and supreme authority over those of us who still believe in our democracy and our American Dream.

The madness to undo centuries of social and political principles and ideologies that have withstood the tyranny of egotistical and self-serving maniacal minds, must stop.  Educated individuals, religious advocates and devotee, far-Right and far-left activists, communication conglomerates who knowingly promote and embrace falsehoods, misinformation, fabrications, and give voice to distorted conspiracies and seditious opinions, have but to look back at history to realize and understand how blind ambitions can destroy nations, eradicate and extinguish whole cultures and societies, and resuscitate the breath and scope of the hate and misplaced passion that was on display on Capitol Hill on January 6th

We the People are the architects of our destiny.  We the People must not let ourselves be led into the infernal regions of our past, to relive the agony and the anguish once again.  In order to look forward, you must look back, but with eyes and minds wide open.

This is a simple truth.
