We moved to his house a month back. It was a large beautiful house at country side far from noise of city. As my father was a writer, he needed a calm special environment for his thoughts.

I liked this house also but I felt some unusual movements happening in this house. Sometime the noises of whispering of children and breaking of glass in kitchen especially when I was alone in the house. I ignored these things and thought that it was my imagination. One afternoon my parents went to nearby market for grocery. I was alone in the house. I went to piano room at basement.  I enjoyed playing piano. When I finished I heard loud noises of clapping around me.

I started shivering with fear and ran upstairs and locked myself in the room. I started reciting holy verses and pray for my parents to return. When my parents came I told them everything. They looked worried and called the previous owner of the house Mr. Parker, the ex-owner first denied anything but later told everything to my parents.

He told that a family with 2 young kids lived here around 10 years back. They were living here since two to three years. One day robbers came to rob their house. In an attempt to stop them the father had a fight with them. In return the burglars shot all three of them and ran. The youngest child was locked in the store room. When the man did not reach his office few days they reported to police. The police came to their house after one week and found 3 bodies. They searched the house and found the dead body of a child in the store room. He said that the child died due to starvation for one week. He might have shouted for help but no one came to help him as the house was far from other houses. It was the soul of that kid which roamed around the house but it was an innocent soul who did not harm anyone.

Now we are not worried and afraid of the soul and we are used to it and are living happily in the house.
