Random Short Moment

'May I ask?'

Someone breaks the silence.
'Yeah?'

'You include others in your prayers? Friends? Strangers?'

Seriously?
'Yeah, I do. Sometimes, I think.'

'How? How do you pray for them?'

That's something. I blink twice.
'Well, I sometimes just name them. Sometimes, I say, 'Heal them and hear their prayers.'' My eyes start to roam around the place. I start to swing my legs. 'Sometimes, I say, 'bless those people who are sincere and true to me.''  I pause. I blink twice. I move my sight, then look at those eyes, eyes that never meet mine.
