A recap of last night's Toronto/Cleveland Game One.

Toronto Blue Jays hammered the Cleveland Indians 11-2 in a six and half inning game.

The game was cut short due to rainy weather.

"It, (the weather), was nasty," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo after the game.

The Indians scored their two runs in the bottom of the first inning when Eddie Rosario hit a two run single.

The Jays took over from there.

At the top of second inning, Randal Grichuk scored on a routine groundout.

Then, Danny Jansen drove in Bo Bichette to tie the game 2-2.

The Jays went ahead 3-2 at the top of the third when Grichuk drove in Bichette with a double.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drove Grichuk with a double.

Then, the Jays went ahead 6-2 when Joe Panik hit a two run homer.

At the top of the fifth inning, Gurriel Jr. hit a two run double.

Then, Panik drove in Gurriel Jr. with a single.

Joe Panik has a good night.

At the top of the sixth inning, Santiago Espinal hit a two run double.

Panik went four for four at the plate and had three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu went five innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out six batters.

Rosario had two RBIs.

Indian's starting pitcher, Eli Morgan went just 2.2 innings, allowing eight hits, six earned runs, two walks, and struck out a batter.

Game Two is later this afternoon.
