Random Short Moment

"I remember, there was this one night when we were out for dinner. I was, I thought, became quite open. Open about how I spent my days, about my encounters, and mostly, about how I feel."

"Well, it was unlikely of you. Very unusual from you. But I don't see any problems with that. What were the stories being told?"

"I talked about ... I remember that was about the new job, my complaints, my struggles, my failures, my incapabilities, my worries. I talked about people, how they treat me, how they do things. I even told them that I cried.
Remembering it now, I was narrating it... proudly and cheerfully, I was smiling, there were jokes in between, I ... we just made fun with it."

"Well, picturing you guys, I can imagine it was a lovely night. A well-spent one. I'm quite sure they enjoyed knowing and seeing that side of you. For sure, as your friends, they were happy for your new adventure, a new opportunity. You haven't stepped on or hurt someone during the process, right? Lied to, hide, or cursed someone?"

"Was I too bold? Ungrateful? Show off? Have I not hurt them indirectly? Unknowingly? Have I not made them feel something negative? Have I not made them question something in their life?"

"Oh, stop it. Here we go again."
