The adventures of a New York teddy bear in a Restaurant.

Teddy Bear was sitting down at Table 4.

The other bears were asleep.

Some of them had been with their human owners; some were yawning.

Teddy Bear saw his human owner, Tracey Parker, was grabbing a jar of fresh honey.

'Have this, Teddy', she said.

He watched her with keen interest.

'Honey is messy'.

'I know that', she declared.

'It runs over my shirt', Teddy Bear said.

'It's new', the girl said.

And she smiled.

The woman appeared.

'English breakfast tea, and scones with jam and cream'.

'Yes, please', the girl said.

'Me, too', Teddy Bear said.

The woman appeared to smile.

'$2.99', she said.

The girl gave her a $10 note.

'Thank you, dear', she said of the tip.

And Teddy Bear ate his breakfast, as he wiped away the jam and cream with a white napkin, with his right hand. He was eager to talk now since he was in New York. The city that never sleeps was his home. and where he belonged.
