If you are having hardships in your life, you should read this. This short story is based on a true incident in which a beautiful girl never lose hope despite being disabled for the rest of her life. this tells us about the lemons of her life and how did she make it a lemonade. never lose hope even if the pain is indescribable. everything happens for a reason.

Her head was floating above her body yet heavy on her shoulders. She opened her eyes once again, which followed the room. She wasn’t at home. She tried to get up but couldn’t move. She was paralyzed!

The white curtains weren’t enough to cheer her up. Everything was white in color including her bed. There laid many IV fluids connected to her body transporting medicines through her vein. She wasn’t breathing. There was a ventilator tube attached to her mouth to help her respire. She couldn’t remember what had happened to her that ended her up there like that.

The racket that she could hear, the disgusting smells of medicines and the hustle bustle of the rushing people in order to meet their close relatives, flooded her mind. She was tired of all of this. There was no one except her mother and brother to help. She couldn’t deal with those hardships. She had to go all over again each single day. It was her sixty third day in the hospital. She had been laying on the same bed for two months crying.

She was not willing for this to happen. She didn’t know the reason behind this. She ended up there with many injuries and wounds due to a tragic car accident. Her car fell into the large ditch and at that moment she was unable to move and as a result she was petrified.

Besides all this, she was giving up hope. She couldn’t pull herself together. But she knew if she gave up her family would give up too. Her hand was so deformed and her ribcage was nearly broken. The doctors told her in dismay she wouldn’t be able to walk her whole lifetime. But she tried her best to hang in there and that is when she asked her brother to bring a canvas so she could paint something. She was tired of all the white color around her.

She painted a beautiful picture with every color she knew. Everyone praised but nobody could see the grief in it, only she could. It was the first canvas she made and it was so stunning and attractive.

She turned this adversity into a greater opportunity and encouraged others not to give up. People said to her that it was her disability but she said that it was her different ability. That wheelchair she was sitting in helped her to interact with others. She was a hero of her own life. Today she is known as a motivational speaker throughout the world. She is the Iron Lady of Pakistan, Muniba Mazari.

Life is a trial and trials are not easy so we shouldn’t be looking for ease in lives. People say that life is not a bed of roses but it does not mean that we shouldn’t make it a bed of roses. When dealing with difficulties a man thinks he is the unluckiest but little he knows that every person has to go through hardships in some course of life.

Always turn your adversity into opportunity because the less you think about problems the more you are courageous and willing to fight them. And that is why we say, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Make the sour and bitter part of your life into a sweet one by adding sugar and other sweetened ingredients.
