Me

Levitation blues
My worries take to the sky
While I plummet back

Emotional realm
Overreact lives and breaths
Haunting and taunting

Adversity laughs
Fold like a dinner napkin
At the kids table

I enjoyed this, but I found the last line confusing. Were you inferring that kids struggle more with adversity than adults?

Not at all, I was trying to say I fold in five in a clever way I haven't used before, and I failed miserably! Thanks, Trindin!

Certainly not a failure. I just was in a different headspace with a different narrative in my mind, but that’s the beauty of poetry. Once you push it out the work splinters in any number of interpretive ways! I appreciate you clarifying.

Yep, it engenders a different reaction from different people, depending how they interpreted it; It's intent comes entirely from the personal, thanks, Trindin
