You can’t find happiness until you find it within.

Can You See Me

Where do you go when you’re tired of looking and swiping but would like to be found

In your bubble with family and close friends on whom you depend, but wishing intimacy was around

You think you know goodness and an open heart when you see it, yet your judgement fails ya

You give to receive

In the end you gift yourself a reprieve

A choice made that derails ya

You seem to be a broken record scratched and skipping over and over like an LP at the same place

Only this this time seems different

Maybe it’s the self reflection and your  foot steps you were able to retrace

Now look at your yard!

The times may have been hard, but now you know the game and your playing the right card

Now your grounds are well manicured, shrubs are groomed, flowers are blooming and the grass is green

You won’t have to look because your heart is an open book and you can be seen
