SPRING
Spring – Week 11
Since I have been learning the basics of cooking as of late, I have {not} been able to spend as much time outside. Those fleeting moments I am able to, however, I relish in the warmth of the sun and the cooling breezes, committing them to memory banks. I know summer is right around the corner, and have been told that I will miss these beautiful spring days, so I will use all my skills to retain them as accurately as possible.
I have at least begun to read One Piece volume 4 by Eiichino Oda, but haven’t made it very far yet, for good reason though! I found a complete omnibus of Puella Magi Madoka Magica with art by Hanokase and have gotten lost in its magnificence. I believe this too will be a very influential manga in my life, it is my favorite one so far. I have also began browsing The Annotated H. P. Lovecraft edited by S. T. John, and am looking forward to exploring a few weird stories within the next week.
Our cooperative story is coming along nicely, and it has been a learning experience for us both. I firmly believe that we are working together well and teaching each other new tricks. I feel as though one of the best ways to add to your toolbelt is by intelligent exchanges of information, for which I am grateful our beings were able to cross paths, however fleeting this interaction may be. I will take full advantage of this time while we have it, but am a bit anxious about what will happen when it’s gone. Ah well, no sense getting worked up about something that hasn’t happened yet.
