A recap of yesterday's Houston/Toronto Game Three.

The Toronto Blue Jays lost the weekend series against the Houston Astros after losing 6-3 yesterday afternoon.

Jose Altuve kicked things off at the top of the first inning with a solo home run.

Chas McCormick put Houston up 2-0 at the top of the second inning with a solo home run.

Teoscar Hernandez scored on a sacrifice fly by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. in the bottom of the second.

The Astros went ahead 4-1 at the top of the third inning with a two run single by Kyle Tucker.

At the top of the seventh inning, Yuli Gurriel scored on an error.

At the top of the eighth inning, Gurriel drove in Alex Bregman with a single.

In the bottom of the eighth, Marcus Semien scored on a forced out.

Then, Randal Grichuk drove in Bo Bichette with a single.

Tucker had two RBIs.

Astro's starting pitcher, Luis Garcia went six innings, allowing just three hits, an earned run, two walks, and struck out eight batters.

Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz went 4.1 innings, allowing eight hits, four earned runs, four walks, and struck out three batters.

"He, (Matz), wasn't as sharp today," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo, at the postgame press conference.

Toronto has a day off before kicking off a three game series against the White Sox in Chicago tomorrow night.
