What makes a body move?

Just a poem I wrote for school that I really liked.

As distinct sounds and beats fill the air

Making people move without care

As people's bodies glide with grace

Each one's eyes gleamed with a daze

People can't control their bodies

As if a puppeteer was moving a dead body

With each person having their own dance style

Giving each other a glance with a senile smile

As the music slows down

Making each into a duo

As if it were sumo.

As the music starts stopping

The eyes of the dancer starts opening

Realizing their predicament

Wondering where the music came from,

when there were no instrument

This is a charming poem. You have some good rhymes and half-rhymes - I especially like Sumo/Duo. Lovely final image awakening from being caught in a dance.
