A poem.

I am lost in my own home

It feels empty

I feel vacant

Locked inside my room alone

I hear you knocking

Why am I screaming

Wish you'd join me on my bed

I miss your perfume

I want to feel you

Would I know if I were dead

Am I in your dreams

Or just a memory

Do you keep me trapped away

Would you ever let me fade

Confined to endless apathy

Wondering if I am real

Wishing I could simply feel

Imprisoned in this agony

Now I wander through the streets

I go unnoticed

I am a spectre

Pretending you're here with me

Telling our old jokes

Playing our old games

Standing outside your old place

Why were you crying

Why were we fighting

Wishing I could see your face

What do you look like

I can't remember

Do I keep your trapped away

Could I ever let you fade

Confined to endless agony

Wondering if you were real

Wishing I could simply feel

Imprisoned in this apathy
