This poem is from a perspective of a person who is living his life in a bustling city. He stands at the sea shore in one evening, reminiscing on his childhood in countryside and the thing which he recalls very vividly about his childhood is the stargazing nights. This poem narrates his inner feelings of that moment.

NOSTALGIA IN THE SKY

Tranquil gust of sea breeze;

cold, gentle and wistful,

put my heart at subtle ease.

At Horizon, Sun bade farewell,

a sad happiness lingered,

as moon began the night-sail.

Up I gazed at million lights;

small, bright and surreal,

a melancholic nostalgic sight

a short walk along the shore;

tedious, pensive and aimless,

pondering how it was before

now the city twinkles as sky;

colorful, lively and bright but,

sky is where my childhood lie.
