The Country Tavern

A grandiose idiot walked into a bar
"I'm taking over, stay where you are"

Some customers were very appalled,
Some of them saluted his idiots call

No compromise or middle ground to be had,
Among those drinking, elation and sad

Fighting ensued as fists and insults flew
The bar destroyed before they were through

The idiot laughed at all the chaotic destruction,
His me-only plan was well under construction

Some customers bowed and fell to their knees,
"Oh great and powerful Oz, like us, please!"

And just like that 245 years were wiped away,
And our democracy became pay to play
