What we’re ALL looking for…

So It May Seem….

Been a long week, my brain is fried, mumbling to myself in Greek

Matters not the amount of stress, cause you’re the best, you fix any tweak

You run a bubbly bath, you make me laugh

I tell everyone you’re  the better half

You make the stress I a mass a thing of the past

Your my forever, my last

When the rain falls you provide cover

You pour over me my sweet lover

You brought my heart back from the ashes

I love you from your toes to your eye lashes

Now when I wake up from this dream

No matter how real it may seem, it’s an going theme

Don’t mistake the tone as I’m good alone

So this expedition to find my mate, to whom I can finally relate, will continue until I find, that piece of mind, the one of a kind I love on the menu

I liked your poem, Xavier nice sprung rhythm. It exploits one of the most used functions of poetry, the expression of love or desire for love. The modern language gives your poem the present day feel.

I see you are open to read requests, I'd like to hear your thoughts on 'For why this sudden rush of green?'

Keep writing and enjoy!
