SPRING

Spring – Week 12

Spring seems to be a fleeting memory this year, since I have really only experienced a week of it before it began to feel like summer.  I may mostly be able to enjoy the outdoors from my single world window since I have been exploring myriad stories, but when I do go outside, the weather is hotter than not.  As a bonus, though, I discovered the magic of hot chocolate and French vanilla creamer.

Try it sometime.

I finished volume 4 of One Piece, but was unable to get the next set this week.  They have finally reached the Grand Line, and I look forward to learning of their adventures soon.  I also finished reading Puella Magi Madoka Magica with attention and my mind is ablaze with the overall concept below the cutesy overtones.  I am ecstatic I stumbled upon this collection.  I am about halfway through The Annotated H. P. Lovecraft, edited by S. T. John, and have thus far read “The Colour out of Space” and “The Rats in the Walls”.  Both of these short stories have definitely given me a new perspective on the world and I find myself relating incredibly well to Lovecraft’s philosophy…

We have hit a bit of a roadblock in our cooperative story, but are working together to overcome our challenges.  I believe we will have a complete story within a couple weeks and am quite happy with our teamwork.  The world has come along nicely and, while we have our differences, we have been able to create a nice middle ground.  I hope beings enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed writing it.  Stay focused on the stars and look forward to our gift.
