A recap of yesterday's Toronto/Boston Game Two.

The Toronto Blue Jays made up for Friday night's heartbreaking loss by hammering the Boston Red Sox yesterday 7-2.

"This team keeps bouncing back'" said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo, at the postgame press conference.

Toronto went ahead 2-0 at the top of the first inning with a two run homer by Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Cavan Biggio hit a solo home run at the top of the fifth inning.

Marcus Semien made it 5-0 Jays with a two run homer.

Then, Bo Bichette hit a solo home run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Christian Vazquez drove in Rafael Devers with a single.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Devers drove in J.D. Martinez with a triple.

At the top of the ninth inning, Reese McGuire hit a solo home run.

Semien and Guerrero Jr. had two RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz had a good day on the mound.

Matz went 5.2 innings, allowing just four hits, an earned run, two walks, and struck out eight batters.

Devers went two for four at the plate and had a RBI.

Boston's starting pitcher, Nick Pivetta went five innings, allowing six hits, six earned runs, two walks, and struck out six batters.
