The Toronto Blue Jays went from elation to disappointment last night.
At the top of the ninth inning, Vladimir Guerrero Jr hit a solo home run to tie the game after being behind 1-0 for eight innings.
Unfortunately, Boston's Rafael Devers drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to give the Red Sox the 2-1 victory to split the four game series.

Despite the loss, the Blue Jays played a competitive game.
Jay's starting pitcher, Alek Monoah had a really good outing on the mound last night, allowing an earned run and striking out five batters in six innings pitched.
Boston's starting pitcher, Nathan Evaldi had an equally good night.
Evaldi held the Jays scoreless for 6.2 innings.
Both Devers and Alex Verdugo went two for four at the plate.
Toronto begins a three game home series against the New York Yankees tonight.
The Jays have had significant success with the Yankees this season.
