In the past six months I have had cancer, pneumonia, sepsis, open heart surgery, a stroke, a seizure all at the same time. Today they found a “mass” somewhere that it ought not to be.

Some days I just need to relax by the bay and let the sun and the wind and the waves do their thing.

Sunshine Therapy

Wind and waves and sunshine

Each manifests its presence

In its own time

But all together with no one missing

On this summer day

A special blessing

Broken back to my beginning

In this war with age there is no winning

So I sit on the back deck and recover

Pondering when my battle will be over
