THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

By Al Garcia

I think we are all familiar with one of the most famous poems in American literature, Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken,” some wrongly refer to it as “The Road Less Traveled.”

Next time you find yourself in a quandary on what road to take when you come to a cross-road in your life, think about the poem.  Then, by all means, take the road that looks most traveled and congested.  There just has to be a reason why people aren’t taking the road less traveled.  It’s easy to avoid roadblocks or delays on a busy road, but much harder to find your way back once you’re on the wrong road.

We learn by experience.  Sometime by simply avoiding the mistakes we’ve made before.
