The world I see is a plain, gray slate.

A place of pure nothingness, which leads to boredom.

Perhaps I am meant to live out this cruel fate.

A path unchallenged, a bee-line towards the heavenly kingdom.

However, this world I see has been changing.

Pebbles and hills have started to appear, opposing my march.

What caused this distortion, this aging?

One might say I found a lover. Another could say I found purpose.

Even if either had happened, my life would remain unchanging.

Yet, that isn't the case.

The world I see,

Now have green fields with mountains.

These fields contain flowers so vibrant one cannot help but be joyed!

Mountains so high, even the sky dares not to cover their glory.

This world I now see,

Was not brought upon by lover nor purpose.

Rather, a sight achieved with a friend.

To share this grace of God, this is the world we see.

Thank you so much for this poem, it made me feel a little lighter throughout the day! ( I am still waiting for the book's new chapters!)

Haha, I made this one randomly. Another one of those days where I felt like putting words together.
