On The Edge

I’m standing on the brink,

teetering...

So easy to slip over the edge and

f

a

l

l.

Or I could take a step back,

turn away

and live to see another day.

Decisions...

decisions...

My mind vacillates between the two

so I’ll let the wind decide.

Stretching my arms wide

to either side

I feel the breeze

on my face,

in my hair

and I take a step back...

the edge is no longer there.

Nice poem. ... Every time I try that the wind is always blowing to my right or left, so the edge never goes away. But I'm told that, that's called old age. --- LOL
