Contrasting mood poems (the other poem is titled Winter Hopelessness.)

A graceful bright white snowflake
Gently dances down from the sapphire blue sky.
Landing on my skin, as cold as ice
But warming up my heart inside.
Comforting memories play in my mind,
The beauty of life truly cannot be defined.
I once couldn’t see, blind to what was before my eyes,
Now I understand miracles can be found if only you try.
And although I know it’s not always true,
If you just fight the dark you’ll surely win, becoming stronger too.
Because fragrant flowers will be bent by the gentle breeze,
But only bend and not break, recovering soon despite unease.
Covered by a soft sheet of snow, seemingly gone forevermore,
Only to emerge and rebloom, lovelier than ever before.
