A long day. “It seems never ending.”

A long ride. “How much farther is the next stop?”

A time to rest. “There is no such thing.”

A long gaze. “I know the result of tomorrow.”

A long look at my future. “Is this all I’ll be?”

A time to change. “I should choose another road.”

A long pause. “I need to make a change.”

A long walk. “Starting down a new path is not easy.”

No time to waste. “When do I begin?”

I love the contrast between each statement and question! The hint of hesitation in each of those answers is so true to life. And the third line is definitely something that, I think, a lot of people can relate to. ^w^ Brilliant poem!
