another poem from my past, and a lesson tucked in.

"What's the use in praying?"

Sighed the little Fawn,

"I pray to be without these spots

But the spots still linger on."

"What's the use in praying?"

Roared the Mountain Lion,

"I prayed to have a Fawn to eat

But on this fish I dine.

I can never find that Fawn

For her spots are rightly made,

When she hides in the brush

She looks like light and shade.

She blends into the grassy fields,

Out there among the flowers.

I wish her spots would go away

Then I would dine for hours."
