Poem about a king turned evil due to the influence of his power.

Winter time has fallen

On the castle near the shore

He that rules within it

Wears a crown of thorns

I’ll take you there with me

Just don’t make a sound

When you see the Kingdom’s ruler

and his blackened cursed crown

All hail the king

He’s no longer a man

Cursed for all eternity

He wears the crown of the dammed

It’s time for the big ball now

You know everyone’ll be there

The servants and the slaves

The queen and her courtier

The knights and their squires

nd the peasants from the town

They’ll all come to see him

The king and his cursed crown

Give him no sympathy

He’ll give none to you

Cruel as the devil he is

He’ll give everyone their due

You look away in horror

But don’t fail to see

The King and his wicked ways

Well he’s just like you and me
