Purple reminds me of respect and this particular flower had very contrasting yellow and light blue as well, so it was memorable to me.

SUMMER

Summer – Week 2

Quite a beautiful week this past seven days, except for today.  A cloudy but cool and welcoming batch of cloud cover was pretty consistent today, but the sun can be pretty intense at times.  I have started walking outside closer to dusk lately, just to get a break from the blazing sun.  It has been rewarding though, I met a new bunny youngster the other day.

I am almost done with this drawing class I stumbled upon two months ago.  We learned about color theory this week and had to do a couple color studies of flowers or pictures thereof.  I also had to not only draw those colorful gifts, but also reflected on one of my favorites so I picked a purple orchid.  Purple reminds me of respect and this particular flower had very contrasting yellow and light blue as well, so it was memorable to me.

I finished Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare which was a very enjoyable read and am almost tempted to read more of their work.  Until then though, I finished volumes 5 and 6 of Black Clover by Yuki Tabata and will keep working at the later stories when I can.  I also managed to find the first volumes of Tales of Berseria by Nobu Aonagi and Rent-A-Girlfriend by Reiji Miyajima, both of which I cannot wait to continue reading soon hopefully.  The next set of manga I hope will be a lot of fun as well, but for now, I will write again next week.
