The past. Blood stained glass. The present. Blood stained walls. The future. Blood stained roads. There was nothing but blood to clean and he always cleaned their blood. Wherever it was shed. Past. Present. Future. This was his duty and he admirably fulfilled it even till this day. He lived in a shack. A shack of darkness. Always pardoned because his heart was Darkness. And his darkness was good. Not like Light. And definitely not like Evil. Even though some couldn’t see the darkness, he could and because of that he could live in it and give in it.

Spirits would bring him gifts to gift and his gifts gift them with kisses. Kisses of life. Kisses of death. Whichever was given was anonymous for he did not know as well. However, he himself was spiritedly gifted and could clearly see in the darkness. Not like microscopically looking at celery but like a clear vase. His heart was Darkness. And his darkness was good.

Jars of jars stood above his shelves. Shelves of Hell. Shelves of Bells. Filled with gifts. Gifts that were opened. Gifts that were unopened. Living in his shack he never bragged. For mere mortals never heard of his portal.

One day he traveled ajar his mars and settled in a settlement he never settled before. And he was happy. And he was sad. And he was glad. And he was angry. He found many generous beings. And he found many ambiguous beings. And these beings were a species known as humans.

Skipping along his timeline he transpired between his shack and in the land where humans lived. He noticed his differences with meeting different people and realized that human beings themselves were different. How different. Very different to him. And that was fine because being different did not define different. And his heart is Darkness. Not light. And definitely not evil. To him, Difference didn’t exist even though it was recognized.

He socialized amongst the human beings and settled with a girl. Popularly pompous. But it was not so. Popularly snobbish. But it was not so. He was in love. And she was in love. And it was Love. He took her wherever she wanted. They saw the world of portals and traveled through his timelines but she never could interpret, understand or decipher the portals this mere mortal was engaging in. She thought it was Original. But it was Creating.

He would lead her to a door and whatever she desired appeared in the blink of an eye. One day they were looking for a place to stay. And they found a house. A house bright as light. A house as novel as the wind. As refreshing as a drink. He would open the door for her and his time to shine the darkness would alight. How bright were her blind eyes, he thought. They walked in and found what she desired most in her heart and it just appeared. For her heart was not dark. It sparkled and he could see clearly what it was what she wanted and he would grant her wishes like the fishes when they would sing.

They got lost in timelines. Traveling. Past. Present. Future. He would give her precious gifts of Life. There was no settlement. There was no anguish. There was just them. And with them was Love. And Darkness. Even though she did not know, the place they were staying at was his shack. Whenever they went out they only had to travel through the portal and they were there. And he would be happy. And he would be sad. He wondered why...Because he could not give her sight.

He tried and tried awakening the hidden beauty inside her and would always question her when she's staring at their mirror. He pondered whether she could see the reflection that was not there. The reflection of non-existence. However she was only delighted and bloomed like a flower staring at her beauty. However there was no reflection of Beauty for they did not exist in the reality of mortality anymore. Subconsciously she was and thought her body was Beauty and hence that was what she saw for she was once mortal. But Beauty was different and it was the hidden Darkness within.
