He was rich. He was bold. He was caring. He died.

There was nothing wrong with my Mother when I was young. She loved me with all her heart. As I look over my childhood farm, I now know it is far more important than I realized. My Mother lived the simple life. She said I was going to inherit all 300 acres of the rustic old farm she spent her entire life on.

It was'nt wrong that I let a handsome man sweep me away. What was wrong and stupid of me was to never return home because I was so wrapped up in my relationship with an amazing man that I let my relationship with my Mother just disappear.

I have quite the battles to fight. My dead husband Robert Stanton put all are assets under a business with his partner. I am currently broke. My Mother gave the farm to some old man down the road from the farm. I just found out I am pregnant. Worse of all, a lady named Eve Weller has come forward to claim my Mothers Farm. She claims she is a Daughter of my Mother. Whats worse, she is my deceased Husbands Partner.

I am going to take the winding path down to the farm and remind myself how beautiful it really is. Then, I am going to think long and hard on how I am going to get the farm back.
