A recap of yesterday's Tampa Bay/Toronto Game Three.

The Tampa Bay Rays ended their five game losing streak yesterday after defeating the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1.

The Rays scored three runs at the top of the ninth inning to put the game out of reach.

The Rays also ended their 10 game road losing streak with the win.

Ray's Austin Meadows was a big factor in the win.

Meadow got three hits, including, two RBI doubles.

Meadows finished the afternoon with two RBIs.

Ray's starting pitcher, Ryan Yarbrough pitched five innings, allowing an earned run and struck out five batters.

Jay's Randal Grichuk hit his 15th home run of the season to put Toronto up 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

Despite the loss, Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray had another decent outing on the mound yesterday.

Ray pitched seven innings, allowing just two earned runs, and struck out six batters.

"Robbie Ray was outstanding," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

Montoyo also said he was pleased that his team won two out three games against Tampa.

The Jays are off before facing the Baltimore Orioles tomorrow night to begin a three game series.
