Status: Finished  |  Genre: Flash Fiction  |  House: Booksie Classic

A woman travels through a plane of existence somewhere between the conscious and super conscious.

I've been here now for three hundred days. They took me from my home in my sleep. They say they are not from the same place as me.  Though they also say they are not from anywhere else far away either.  We exist here somewhere in between. I'm here for healing, apparently.

Though all I have felt has been pain. I've been subsisting with grief. Growing pains, I guess. Relief is not far away. It's here that I need to start feeling, evidently.

Sometimes this is what it takes to break a rusted chain. My home is somewhere I'll be.  My home is somewhere I left.  Yet after I cross that horizon.  I'll be there again, only differently.
