We stole from Time

Shared the taste of summer

between breaths

Stole heat from too-close skin

we could’t get enough of

Left reason and words on

the stairs bellow

Stole reality and moment

we knew wern’t ours

Dreamed about seconds before

and of hours never to come

Stole days never meant

to be crafted

We stole from Time

and Time was not forgiving
