A nightmare

There is a man who thinks twisted things
And in his mind they became automatically true
Used to have the bully pulpit, now down to bully
Carries out twisted plans in the red, white, and blue

Believers hang on his words like a holy shrine,
Confusing ego with religion, they sell their soul
To his leering face and suits bought off the rack
Egotistical mind sees the world as under his control

This poster boy for mental illness had his rat pack
Who echo the paranoia that shoots from his lips
This narcissist baby man spews shit from his hole,
Yet they believe every one of his outlandish quips

Over the edge they go, his swamp overflowing,
Dragging common sensers and the USA along
But he just smiles and waves, "have a nice trip"
And listened to the echoes of America's swan song

His subjects follow their leader on his fantasy trip
Down the rabbit hole to his Orwellian dreams
Where he is the ruler of a Utopian world
Here only he knows nothing's what it seems

Bends reality to fit his warped, grandiose plans
The most dangerous type of madman is here
In America and the stage is set for disaster,
That so many follow this Pied Piper of Fear
