The Carpenter

-

Can we "bock"

For a minute?

Hen, I want

__to lay

____an egg

Can we "bock"

For a minute?

Hen, I want

__to lay

____an egg

Spray the words

Out a spray can

Stand back

__and marvelously laugh

Laugh out the laughter

Ache all the pain

Wash away thee insanity

__with the laying

____of an egg

The monsters in this town

They laugh at me

__and my mess

And my mess is hesitant

__to be cleaned up

To be cleaned up

__you'd have to be a fool

And foolishness is not in a mess's vocabulary

So think not

And blink away

Pissed off

And mad all day

The carpenter has left

__to find a place to kill us all

So that all will be dead

__and his life can go on

The marvelous laughter

__that is the madness within himself

____will self destruct

And he will die too

But he doesn't know

That he won't grow old

He doesn't know

That he won't grow old

He doesn't know

That he won't grow old

But he too

__will surely be dying

Dying in a world

__where no one else is left

Dying in a world

__where he's the last one alive

Dying to be dead

A death that he will die

And so as he lays

__his body down

____for one last time

He thinks of thee others

__that he killed

Feeling as though he's been slapped with a bill

He pays up

Dead as fuck
