A friend's decent

The man who stands before me, have you always been thus,
A man full of suspicion and anger; with a complete lack of trust?

You've turned paranoia into a high art form of literary writing,
A dark ages preacher, railing against a world that is changing

Spewing your toxic venom while making fun of anyone
Who disagrees with both you and your beliefs; you run

Your your mouth, your beliefs, and vitriol at full speed
Wherever he tells you to go or what to believe, indeed

Hating everybody and all thing democrat is your full-time job,
Your bellowing ignorance on display with every bomb you lob

Just a replica online you display, a shadow boxing fool,
At war with me and your decency, with compassion and cruel
