We didn’t slow down
Nor apply the brakes
And it would become a fact
That we weren’t headed the same direction
On this railroad track.
Laying on the whistle
Without clues and decisions
We were to hit head on
It would be the worst of collisions
On this railroad track.
No, there wouldn’t be a go around
There would be no turning back
Just broken parts on the ground
And two hearts in a zip lock sack.
So please slow down
And apply the brakes
Or it could become a fact
You both weren’t headed the same direction
On that railroad track.
Laying on the whistle
Without clues and decisions
You’re bound to hit head on
It could be the worst of collisions
On that railroad track.
No, there won’t be a go around
There will be no turning back
Just broken parts on the ground
And two hearts in a zip lock sack.

I like your repetitve phrase, urging on how important it is to drive safe.
It also seems to be deeper than just a warning.
Its a good write.
